Hot hot hot

The last few days have been uber hot! Although i haven't had time to really enjoy them, we did get out for a drive last night and snagged an ice cream cone from DQ. Living out towards the valley makes it even hotter for us, usually 4-5 degrees warmer than the city, so i'm very thankful we bought an air conditioner a few months back and just have to set it up now that it looks like the warm weather is going to stick around for a bit.

I didn't really get an oppertunity to blog about Jacob's birthday and birthday party! I worked on Jacob's birthday which kind of sucked but i came to home and opened some presents with family and friends who were in town from out of town. 

Jacob sure got spoiled from all his friends and family, he gots lots of clothes and toys and books...thank you to everyone out there!

We bought Jacob a wiggles DVD and tickets to the wiggles live in august for his bday...i think he's really going to enjoy it by the way he zones out when we put on the show!

We had his cake smash the morning of his party and here are a few pictures. I do have to say, i have the most beautiful child in the entire world and he makes me smile every second...even when he's screaming in my arms :)

The past week has flown by and i can't believe another weekend is already over. This week is going to be a quick one too as im off work on weds and fri, i find my days go by fast when i'm off twice during the "normal" work week. I get to spend the day with Jacob on Friday as our daycare provider is going to Vegas (lucky lady!) and i'm really looking forward to it! I"m also going to keep Jacob home on Wednesday from daycare as i'm off and don't have any meetings or anything to attend! We might go visit all the girls at work...or just hit up the beach if the weather stays nice, we'll have to see! :)

We've got Jacob transitioned completely to whole milk and i think he's having a hard time digesting. We're back to giving him his Lactulose every morning again. After this last bit of milk is done i think i'm going to pick up some organic hormone free milk and see if it makes a difference on his tummy and bowels, poor kid just gets so constipated. And it doesn't help when people feed him ice cream, chips and other bad things when i'm not looking either! Poor kid, can't poop it out and no one seems to understand but his Mama :(  Its the worst thing in the world to have your baby clinging onto your neck, sweating and screaming 'cause he can't poop! 

Well i'ts almost 9pm and i have to get Jacob's lunch ready for tomorrow! A mother's work is never finished i tell you!
