The best things in life are free!

The last 2 nights it's just been myself and Jacob as Ty's in Toronto for a week for work, and i have to admit, i LOVE our bedtime routine! I'm usually the one to put him to bed and we usually have a few minutes in the rocking chair talking about our day before I lay him down, but the last 2 nights i just rocked with him and sang him songs and he has been hugging me so tight it's amazing! It makes me sad to put him down to drift off to sleep because i absolutely love these moments! When he was a young baby, i couldn't cuddle with him at all because he'd push me away. Now that he's older, it's a whole different story and I wouldn't change it for anything! He gives me lots of kisses and sighs and starts to babble to me, it's SO ADORABLE!

 

On tuesday we took Jacob to the Wiggles which was his 1 year birthday gift from  us! When they came out on stage he started screaming and clapping his hands it was awesome! He didn't take his eyes off the guys the whole 1 hour and 45 minutes and when the guys played his favorites, "hot potato", "fruit salad" and "getting strong" he squeeled, awesome!

Hello Murray!

Needless to say after the concert Jacob slept the whole way home...he was wiggled out! We had dinner with my Dad who's back on the west coast now and then called it a night!


Tomorrow i have the whole day off and i'm not sure what we're going to do! If the weather's nice we might head to the water park or i'll just pull out the pool...best $10 investment ever!
