Lately i've just been mortified when watching the news. A 6th kid has fallen out of a bedroom window in the lower mainland in the last 2 months. Seriously, where the hell are the parents?! And why are these kids allowed near windows on the 2nd and 3rd floor of their homes by themselves? It just blows my mind that some people are SO careless to leave windows open and unattended when they have 2 year old children in their care. One of these kids that fell actually died. I could never forgive myself if that ever happened to us. I NEVER leave Jacob alone in a room with a window open. The safety lock is always on the window so i know there is NO way he can get out. Nevermind the fact i don't put furniture in front of the window so he can't climb up anyways. The exception is in our living room, yes we have a couch there but i NEVER have the window's open...that's why we bought an air conditioner!!!!
So sad. I hope all these babies heal fast :(
