The Douglas-Zimmerman family: Solo parenting 101

I'm flying out to Toronto today for a few days for work, and Tyler is going to get a solid taste of what its like to be a solo parent for a bit! I don't think i've ever left Jacob for more than 24 hours with Tyler (i've never had a need to), but now, it's a solid 96 hours! I can only hope the house is still standing when i get back, and that they at least had one serving of vegetables while im gone. Tyler seems to think that macaroni and cheese and grilled cheese are great meal ideas for a balanced meal...yowza. Im so glad phone's were invented as they're only a phone call away!

I wouldn't say i'm nervous about leaving Jacob, but i definitely am sad to not see him for 4 days, i have a feeling it's going to be the longest four days ever!

On the wedding planning front, Im trying to book a solid date at the venue i want, but no one is responding to me!!! SO FRUSTRATING!!! When i get back on thursday i'll definitely be making some phone calls if i still dont have a response! Makes me a little nervous though as i don't want my wedding planning to be like this...ie no contact with the vendor.
