Chatterbox...or not?!

Lately i've been kind of worried about Jacob's speech and how many words he says (or doesn't really.) A lot of the people in my baby birth clubs say their babies can say 10+ words, like really? 10?...Jacob might say 3= mama, dada and bob. We still don't know who Bob is! I'm afraid to google babies and speech development as i know the internet can be a moms worst enemy when it comes to concerns!

The last couple of weeks he's definetly become more vocal...lots of babble and all the time, but i have yet to hear him point to something and say the word. We do lots of reading with him, and I walk around to him pointing to things and saying words but he doesn't repeat, he just laughs. in the last few days it's sounding like he's saying "what's that?" and he points to anything and everythign, so i've been saying "that's a kitty, that's a tree, that's a house..." you get the idea. But he doesn't repeat, just says "what's that?" after. Sometimes i think maybe he's saying 'this" when he babbles, but it could just be me being hopeful!

We always want the best for our children and it just worries me that maybe my baby is behind the game with these "wonder kids" !

On a lighter note, Jacobs zoomin' up the stairs now and if we don't have the gate on we're in big trouble!  He LOVES climbing and has no fear of those stairs!

Today  Tyler made Jacob his own bus to play in...these two boys are so creative together!
