C'mon long weekend!

The past week has been B-U-S-Y! Some of my girlfriends were over this past weekend to play ball and I was able to head out for dinner with them on Saturday night sans child! Makes me miss home when i realize how easy it would be to get together with friends if we lived in Victoria... you don't have to drive an hour to get everywhere! 

Jacob was at home all week last week with Tyler and they had a blast together. Ty made Jacob a bus out of his diaper box and it's probably the best thing that has ever happened to the kid! He loves it!

 This week the "in laws" were so kind to come over and watch Jacob for the week as it's week 2 of no child care. They're sure doing a great job at keeping him busy and tiring him out...he's sleeping great and falls asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow at night! Work has been pretty busy as i've got another manager training in our store  right now, and we finally finished our Semi annual sale and have moved onto new product! It's amazing how picky people can be....even with $1.38 soap! Well at least it's all boxed up and outta my life....until January when we do it all over again!

I've got 4 days off coming up and we're heading to the island to spend the long weekend with Tyler's family...getting a healthy dose of the Douglas gang this month! While we're over there, Jacob and I are going to go see our friends Tatiana and Cam and their children...we haven't seen them in a whole year now! There' s a big music fesitival going on in Comox that weekend too rumor has it, so maybe we'll check it out...you never know!

Today i had Jacob walking by himself behind his toy walker....we're still practicing! No signs of independent  walking yet!!!!
