After I got off work on Saturday Tyler, Jacob and my Mom and her partner Ken all went for dinner at one of my favorite places....RED ROBIN! Man i love their french friends...and they're bottomless!
Jacob surprised us all and drank out of a straw without having done it before! I was so shocked...my little boy has grown up!

After dinner we went home and i was treated to an ice cream cake when i opened the freezer. Yum. Tyler and Jacob got me a beautiful pair of white gold earrings for my birthday and I've been wearing them every day! I also got a nice scarf from Ty's parents along with some cash...i'm not sure what i'm going to do with it yet!....Petticure maybe?! My mom and Ken gave me a nice gift certificate for the running room, a nice surprise as I'm needing new running shoes!
And now it's wednesday. Boy time flies!!!
Tomorrow is my final day to get all my preparations done for the big barnyard bday party! Ive got to get all my ingredients for the cupcakes, pick up the loot bag favors and order some balloons...who thought turning 1 would be such a big deal :)
Tyler had an amazing idea of what we could give Jacob for his 1st bday...im keeping it a secret for now!
So i was going through my camera to see if there were any pictures i hadn't transferred and this is what i found...
Apparently, Daddy thought it was a good idea to put Jacob in a box and photograph his attempt to get out?? haha.
This weekend we went to the Cloverdale rodeo and had a great time with our friends Leaerin, Cam and their little guy Canaan. We took the boys to the petting zoo and bought a steam mop in the process....the one i've been waiting for the PNE for! I tried it out tonight and it's pretty great!
Jacob absolutely *LOVED* that green balloon...i think it made his night! And no, i didn't buy any tupperware...this night anyways!
Well im gonna cut this short...the hockey game is still on and it's 9:08...Don't the Canucks know that Teen Mom is on tonight? Sheesh.
