So finally, today is Tyler's birthday! We've had birthday festitivies all weekend! On Saturday night Tyler and I got to go out for a nice dinner and hit up the casino for a while afterwards. It was nice to get out just the two of us, we don't do it enough ...but i think we just miss our little guy too much and want him with us!!! On Sunday we had a little birthday party at one of Tyler's friends place complete with chips, pop and cake (with only sprinkles on half because Tyler doesn't like sprinkles!)...let's just say Tyler was a happy guy.
Tonight Ty's Nana is taking him/us out for dinner...we're probably gonna head to the local Ricki's restaurant and let Tyler roll that dice to hopefully win a free meal!! We had a pretty low key weekend other than that! The weather sucked big time, no big surprise there...rain, rain, rain. Gotta love Vancouver! Need to get back to Victoria to get under that rainshadow!
Jacob has done really well with the time change. He went to bed at 7:30 last night and slept through until 7:45 this morning, and I got him down for his nap right at 10am today! The little guy has 4 teeth now! His bottom front teeth have finally come through, so now we're dealing with 3 teeth coming in at once. That's how I thought it was going to happen, and it's kinda nice as they all come in, then he's done for a bit and gets a break. It must feel horrible to have something cutting through your gums! Im so glad we don't remember it! But we really are blessed, he's not a bad teether. He's a little whiney at times, but if you play with him, he forgets! He's such an amazing little boy and we're so lucky. So many people i know are still dealing with getting up 3 and 4 times a night and feeding 5 and 6 times a day, but this guy just needed to get into his groove and he worked it out!
