Bye bye EI!

So, that's it! We're done. Our journey of being able to spend every day together and lounge in our pj's has come to and end...and what an end it was!  Yesterday was a busy day for me and my little guy! 

We woke up and did our normal thing, bottle, breakfast and play!

Then Jacob went down for his nap and the real fun started! So the company that i interviewed with called me and offered me a position with them....and I accepted! I'm now the newest store manager with Bath and Body Works, and I couldn't be happier! I'll be working at a location where i don't have to take any bridges, tunnels, or anything!! It's so much closer to home, and my commute to work is definitely bearable. I start on the 26th of April, so fast approaching!
I called my boss at Thyme to let her know about the position, but initally BBW didn't want me to start until May 10, but really, that would be a real inconvenience for Thyme and a waste of their time and money to have me come back for 2 weeks. Plus, it didn't help that the DM was transferring managers around so i wanted to let her know asap so she didnt make all the transfers and then had to re transfer again because i left. I was trying to negotiate with BBW to start on the 26th so i wouldn't have to go back to thyme because business wise, it wouldn't make sense. Not good for them, not good for me....and BBW came through, so i called my DSM back at Thyme and left a message letting her know that i definitely wouldn't be coming back...but she never called me back. Oh well. I'll call her on Monday and make sure i give back all my company property and my official resignation.

So while i was on the phone with BBW, guess what showed up??

That's right! My new sun hood that moves! LOVE IT! Jacob is going to be one happy rider now!

So after all this fun commotion Jacob and I headed off to the mall to do a quick shop with our friend Adrianna, it was her birthday extravaganza night last night and she needed a new outfit for the event! And we had success, I even found a new top!


My Mom and Ken came over last night and watched Jacob for us to Tyler and I could head into town and watch the Canucks game and and head out to the "club" (oh that sounds so wrong now...) in town with Adrianna and her other birthday celbrators! We had a great time, i ate way too much greek food, but it was good!


Jacob slept great last night and now we're up and at 'em gettin' ready to go to swimming! 

Jacob loungin'! This is actually how we give him his bottle now (except his bedtime one, ill snuggle him for that one!) Im glad hes starting to be a big more independent and able to feed himself in some ways!
