Today was Jacob's first day at daycare! We just did a half day today and our day looked like this!
We showed up at 8:15am (already fed !) and we hung out and played with little Marcus and Claire for about 2 hours. I then took Jacob upstairs for his daily nap at 10am. He took about 15 minutes to get to sleep (which is pretty normal for us). I left as soon as he was 'out cold' and went home! Michelle (our daycare provider) called me when he woke up....AT 12:35!!!A two and a half hour nap= amazing. I wish he'd do that at home! lol. She fed him his bottle and I showed up during it. He seemed so happy, all smiles :) He didn't freak out when he woke up and Michelle went in and got him, apparently he laughed at her and gave her a big smile! I love it, im feeling really great about this, as Jacob did pretty darn well today!
Tomorrow I'm planning on only staying with Jacob for an hour in the moring and th en leaving so Michelle can spend time with him, do the nap routine, bottle and lunch and then i'll come pick him up. We'll see how it goes!
