Jacob and Lydia kissin' in a tree....k-i-s-s-s-i-n-g!

In an attempt to secure a nice, respectful young lady for Jacob, we invited Ms. Lydia and her mom over for a nice v WEisit, and we had a blast!
On Sunday, Jacob and I headed over to Victoria for Cadence's 4th birthday! (I'm a bad Aunty and forgot to take pictures with all the fun we were having!) We only stayed for the day and then headed back home that night with Ms. Lydia and Maria in tow!

We had a fun couple of days while they were here. We went for a nice little hike at Pacific Spirit Park, went to Ikea (in which we pondered over wicker boxes for a LONG time! ;-), let the kiddies play with eachother and then finished upwith a nice walk in White rock before we hit up the ferry terminal!

Jacob was a little skeptical of Lyds at first...he kept trying to touch her head, face, anything...and stole her toys! The first day of car rides together were not enjoyable. They both screamed at eachother and Jacob didn't like it when Lyd touched his hand..or looked at him. Our drive into Vancouver was wretched on the first day...lots of screams! But  by day 2, i think they found their groove and they were great together!

                                                        Hey, Nice head!

                                            Just chillin'

We also decided to bathe our beauties together and take some pictures so we could taunt them later in life! In a typical boy fashion, Jacob tried to take Lyds toys and push her over, but she stood her ground!

                                                  Hey, give me that toy!

Um, yeah. Get outta my way and give it to me.

Lyds won the battle and got away, Girl power!

So much fun! :)

Jacob has taken to waking up at 6:15-6:30ish in the morning for the past 3 days, i think the early morning light in his room is waking him up. I hit up Home Outfitters and got him some black out curtains, and tomorrow i'm going to go get the hardware to put them up! I hope it helps!
