Home Sweet Home!

After a couple of days away, I must say it's nice to be home! Jacob never does well with being away from  home, and this time was no exception! We take a pack and play thing with us to sleep in, but he never lasts more than 3 hours in it at a time and ends up in bed with me. Exhausting to say the least. Last night he was up until 2:30am and then moaned and groaned and grabbed at my face every half hour until he decided at 7am that he was up for the day! I sincerely hope he grows out of this and learns to sleep away from the nest!


Taryn's wedding was absolutely amazing. She looked so stunning, and could have stepped right out of a magazine! Everything went off without a hitch and everyone had a beautiful time! A champagne toast at New Years with Tyler and the rest of the O'Flanagan-Tims wedding crew was how I rang in the New Year, and it was perfect! I was ready for bed at 10pm , but stuck it out until 12:04am. Gone are my partying days it appears, as i find the potential for  4 hours of consequtive sleep much more attractive!

I forgot to mention my "sister" got married that morning as well! She's my dad's wifes' daughter...so my sister! Her wedding was the complete opposite of Taryns, small and intimate. Held in a restaurant they rented out, it was perfect! Cozy and warm and very low key. Tamacinn also looked beautiful in her flowing cream empire waisted dress and her husband looked great in his Navy officer uniform!


So back home, but the holidays aren't over quite yet. Tomorrow im expecting my Dad and his wife , but only for the day and one night. Then they're off to Edmonton for another cold winter. Im so glad i don't live there!


So after 2 weddings in one day, i can't wait to crawl into my own bed tonight! Jacob has been asleep in his crib since 7 tonight, and he went down without a fight, i hope he has a peaceful slumber until his 4 am wake up call to eat! Fingers crossed!
