Jacob and I had a great time in Victoria this past week with the Maclean family! Although Jacob stole little miss Lydia's crib, he managed to sleep fantastic! He's decided lately that he's going to pee the bed every night, so i'm thinking that his diapers are too small! WHOO! That means he grew, so way to go little man! We went swimming at a salt water pool in Vic and it did wonders for J's eczema! He didn't get red or swollen at all, i was so amazed! So this week, my mission is to find a pool on the lower mainland that has salt water!
Yesterday we went to the zoo with our friends Leaerin and her little guy Canaan. Both the boys ended up falling asleep, and it was freezing cold and raining! But all in all we had a great time, and I can't wait to go back when it's a bit warmer out and the chance of rain is non existent! Jacob got to see a real life "sophie", and just stared at the big giraffe! It was pretty cool 'cause the giraffe came right to the window (it was inside 'cause she was probably cold!) and she was rubbing her nose and teeth all over the frame! Her eyes were huge too! I think that's what caught Jacob's attention!
Its supposed to rain here in Vancouver for the next 6 days, so nothing too exciting planned! We're off to swimming lessons this morning so off I go! Gotta get the little bear ready!
