Not a baby anymore :(

                               Jacob was 9 weeks old here!

                                   A few days shy of 9 month old!



I've been catching up this morning on up loading pictures of our little guy, and it's become painfully obvious that this little guy is quickly growing into a little boy! I look back at photo's of when Tyler and I had just brought Jacob home from the hospital and it seems like it was yesterday we were trying to juggle how we were going to eat dinner because someone had to walk around and bounce the little guy so he wouldn't cry. Now, he just sits happily in his exersaucer while we can eat a relaxed meal as a family!

It's unreal how fast time flies by, and everyone has always told me before you know it,  he'll be all grown up! ....and i know he's only 9 months but boy oh boy are they right! 

I can't help but laugh at him right now as he rolls around on his play mat like a crazy animal screaming at his toys for something he's obviously not impressed with! LOL.

We still haven't figured out the crawling thing, so i guess that's one of the last little baby things I have to hold on to...for now! He's figured out how to get himself on his knees now, but he just rolls over instead and rolls around to get around!

We had a great weekend this past weekend! Jacobs friend Canaan turned 1 and we went to his birthday party! Canaan definitely like his cake and I think I saw his aunty coaxing him into putting it all in his hair...which he did! Haha. Jacob got his first taste of icing (that i know of!) and he definitely was okay with it!

 We went down to the states on Sunday and hit up the outlet mall and got all of us some new clothes!...well, i just bought 2 head bands, but none the less we all got something good! I finally found Jacob a pair of jeans that weren't baggy on him, he looks so stylish in his skinny man jeans :) Here he is with Dad modelling off his standing skills and his new pants!

On Monday we went swimming as a family for the first time since Jacob was 2 months old! It was good to see that Jacob is comfortable with Tyler in the water, and he showed his Daddy some of the things he's learned in class like how to wait until dad says '1,2,3 swim!" to come into the water! No pictures for that one, but we had a blast!

And I actually got this little guy to eat a banana....without pureeing it!!! It's true what they say, just keep offering and they shall take!

We have been encouraging Jacob to "furniture walk" as they say, and now he can stand all by himself (with mom or dad close by of course!). It's so cute, you definitely know when he's going down as his legs start shaking like jello lol.

 My happy little guy...who drools a lot! And he's such a ham in his monster house coat too!

 This week we have a low key week and I just plan on hanging out with my little man! Lots of walks, play time, and of course snuggles and naps are on the list of must do's!
