Snowy weekend!

This weekend we were treated with a nice dusting of snow out our way! I'd say we got about 3 inches? Just enough for fun and no havoc! In fact as I write this now, it's pouring rain outside and the snow is melting nicely! But we did get a chance to get the little bear outside in his little outfit and make some snow angels!

 Yesterday was Jacob's last swimming lesson for the session, and he's come a long way! He can float on his back with his head and ears in the water, jump in and get his head dunked,  do front floats, do big kicks while on his back (all of these with mommy's help of course!)...although we haven't mastered making bubbles yet :)That will be next session.......that we start next week! I'm actually kinda upset because all the kids are supposed to get report cards at the end of their class, and Jacob's is no where to be found and I even went back again today to check. So now i'm goin' straight to the top of the swimming food chain and gettin' my big guy his report card! Here's a few pictures of his last lesson!

This past week Ty's parents were in town so we got to see them a bit, and we also got over to see my Mom and Ken before the snow hit! Jacob has finally discovered his voice now (besides screaming that is!) and is babbling and it's absolutely my most favorite thing! I'm going to try to up load a video of him talking away to himself on his play mat but if it doesn't work...sorry!

It still amazes me how fast this kid is growing, especially now that he's on formula instead of breast milk. He's getting so heavy compared to what he was. He's definitely filled out in his face and his tummy which is now chubby hehe.
Today Daddy and I bought him a new toy because i felt bad that everybody else got their swmming report card but Jacob didn't...and so far I i think he seems to like it...but nothing beats his obsession of peeling up his play mat and eating it!

What a guy!
